We believe that Quality Control is
an important part in the running of our Radio Service. This begins at the point of entry for
new volunteers, and commences with an induction afternoon where new staff can become
acquainted with the service. Underpinning such a quality service there is a need for good
communication to exist throughout the organisation and among those involved.
Any system of Quality Control should have accountability, responsibility, and
measurability included in it. The Station Manager has overall responsibility for quality
control and compliance. All of our output is recorded and kept for 90 days so we can always
listen back to a show if a complaint is recieved. We have a training system in place to
ensure that our presenters have the knowledge and expertise to broadcast to an acceptable
standard. Feedback from our listeners is always welcome and we have a formal complaints
procedure outlined on our website.
